The Child Center has available to Lane County residents a wonderful
resource library which covers a broad array of topics relating to children
and families who are dealing with severe emotional and mental disorders.
There are literally thousands of books, journals, video tapes and other resources
on such topics as divorce, depression and suicide, adoption, fire setting, parenting, sexual and physical abuse, ADHD, alcoholism, anger management, grandparents as parents, grief and loss, separation issues, self esteem, speech and language, child development, alcohol and teens, coping with life events such as death or accidents or new siblings, living with a mentally ill person, teaching tolerance and resource directories to mention just a few of the resources available to parents.

The Child Center has these materials available at on our campus, located at 3995 Marcola Road between the hours of 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Please click the about The Child Center link for a map and directions provided by Google Maps.
